Day 1 NABC2010

Srijeet Chaudhury takes you through a tour of the first day of NABC beginning with an introduction from Rituparna Sengupta and then powerful renditions of the National Anthems of USA, Canada, Bangladesh and India. Sapphire Creations presented an interesting experimental dance as the opening ceremony and then both the Bishwa Mancha and Banga Mancha started the regular parallel tracks of programs. Manomay Bhattacharya, Sahaj Ma and Utpal Fakir kept the audience entertained, but the real revelation was a spectacular dance program presented by Rhythm of Life, New Jersey. Other events included inauguration of the Movie session by Rituparna and a business networking dinner where Bollywood singer Abhijeet made a surprise appearance.
